Launch of the second Consumer Research Award

Following its successful launch earlier this year, our Consumer Research Award is entering its second round. Submissions are now being accepted – we are looking for creative, relevant, and forward-looking research designs that offer new perspectives on socially and economically relevant issues.

With the Consumer Research Award, we, together with the Master's program "Consumer Research & Data Driven Marketing" at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, Campus Wieselburg, are once again setting an example for the democratization of market research. The goal is to move research away from the ivory tower and bring innovative ideas into practice.

The award is once again aimed at students, start-ups, companies, and individuals who want to address socially relevant issues using innovative research methods. Submissions are now open until January 25th at consumer-research-award.at.

An independent jury from the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt evaluates all submissions based on the criteria of quality, relevance, degree of innovation, and feasibility. The three best research designs will be implemented in collaboration with Marketagent. In addition, the ten best entries will receive the "Research & Art" award – an exclusive, signed art print by the young Austrian artist Nana Mandl.

Milestones of the Consumer Research Award:

  • Submissions open: immediately
  • Submission deadline: January 25, 2026
  • Award ceremony: March 6, 2026, during the StartUp Night at the Wieselburg Campus
