After a forced break of about 1.5 years, we finally had another Social Friday on Friday. This time, the lockdown put a spanner in the works of our plans to cook for the needy together with the Franziskanerkloster as part of its soup kitchen. But that didn't stop us from putting at least part of our plans into action. And so we were able to hand over our donations in kind in the form of warm winter clothing for homeless people and in this way use Friday afternoon for something meaningful after all.
Because that's exactly what the Social Friday initiative is based on - giving employees time off for social commitment and thus turning Friday afternoons into something meaningful.
